Patrik Stefan’s Missed Empty Net Goal

One of the strangest moments in the NHL history took place Thursday night. The Dallas Stars were leading the Edmonton Oilers 5-4 with 10 seconds left and the Oilers had pulled their goalie. Dallas center Patrik Stefan has a breakaway on the empty net, and the unbelievable happens.

On Thursday the 14th, the Boston Red Sox announced perhaps the biggest predictor of their success over the next six years. They have signed Daisuke Matsuzaka AKA Dice-K to a six-year $52 million contract.
