Ambient Forecasting Umbrella
Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest ideas.
From ThinkGeek, this is an ambient umbrella ($99) that will flash when it’s going to rain. Personally, I use two umbrellas (one for the car, and one for my apartment). I could get a third umbrella to keep at work and I might never get caught unarmed in a storm again, or I could get this one and ditch the other two.
Along with the other ambient displays that I have looked at, this is one of my favorites. Plus, it almost looks like a lightsaber.
