Everyone should stop what they are doing right now and take this Phishing Quiz from McAfee SiteAdvisor. The 10 question quiz is aimed at testing your ability to recognize online scams (or phishing attempts that steal your information). Phishing is still a major problem on the Internet today. Many studies have found that typical Web users are unable to detect phishing attempts. A 2006 “Best of CHI” paper from MIT [PDF Link: Do Security Toolbars Actually Prevent Phishing Attacks?] describes a study that found that many Web users do not realize how complex the attempts are rely on the content of the website rather than the browser toolbar.
