Happy Birthday Gmail!

GmailGmail is one year old. And in what seemed like a response to Yahoo!’s increase of storage space for members to 1gb, Gmail increased their storage to 2gbs, and counting. That’s right, Gmail storage will be increasing indefinitely. Check out Gmail.com for the current storage count. Gmail also added rich text formatting capability. If you still don’t have Gmail, send me a message and I will give you an invite.

Gmail looks like it will dominate the free e-mail market, just like Hotmail did in the 90s. It is changing the way people think of e-mail. You don’t have to delete your e-mail anymore. One will never run out of space with Gmail. Unless, of course, you are receiving a lot of large files.
